The word Lagniappe (lan-yap) in our title means something extra.  We try to live up to that name by providing a little extra customer service in each order.

We are a family operated business in Hahnville, LA, nestled in the heart of South Louisiana, only a few miles outside New Orleans.  We search for the best quality Louisiana, Cajun, and Creole products to feature on our site, providing our customers with our personal guarantee of quality.

Louisiana has a unique heritage.  The mélange of cultures has created foods and crafts not available anywhere else on earth.  Our mission is to make those Louisiana items available to the internet consumer.

In 1840 our great-great-great Grandfather stepped off a ship in Louisiana.  Since that time, seven generations of our family have lived, worked, and played in Louisiana.  We know Louisiana products!
